In addition, it has sedative properties and is used for insomnia, diarrhea and toothache. In newer medical studies on labdanum, its anti-tumor activity against tumors has been investigated. During the summer months, the leaves and stems of the lavender secrete a resinous substance known as aladanos, labdanum or ladanum. Labdanum is also known as “Myrrh of the Bible” as it was used as incense during the reading of the psalms of David and the Bible. – Source: www.mistikakipou.gr The raw materials for the production of the soap: extra virgin Cretan olive oil, wild labdanum of the Cretan land
