This is a beautiful old pipe that as some point has been repaired. When you see an old pipe, especially meerschaum with a silver cap at the bottom of the bowl, you know it’s been repaired. These pipes were notorious for not passing a pipe cleaner, and clogging easily. The easiest solution was to drill a hole in the bottom of the bowl and fix the clog.
