Description Aged Blackberry-Ginger Our Blackberry-Ginger Balsamic is wonderfully sweet and pleasingly tart.  It’s redolent with the exotic, spicy flavor of ginger artfully married with rich, ripe juicy blackberry. It makes a fantastic dressing or marinade, use on chicken, fish, over fruit salad, or oatmeal.  It is divine paired with our Lemon Olive Oil, or any one of our Extra Virgin Olive Oils. Our naturally infused balsamic condimento is caramel color-free, free of added sugar or thickeners and aged in the wood barrels of the traditional Solera Method in Modena, Italy. Site Selection

  • Choose a location with excellent sunlight to ensure full sweetness and color.
  • Good airflow reduces fungal pressure, especially in humid or coastal climates.

Soil Preparation

  • Prefers well-drained loam or sandy loam; avoid clay-heavy or waterlogged soil.
  • Add compost to improve drainage and fertility.
  • Ideal soil pH: 6.0–7.0.

Planting Instructions

  1. Plant at the same depth as in the nursery pot.
  2. Water deeply and mulch with 2–3 inches of organic matter.
  3. Keep mulch a few inches away from the trunk.

Watering & Fertilizing

  • Deep water 1–2 times per week in heat or drought.
